May Trade

by: atikovi

Description: This is a 2004 Saturn Vue Redline AWD finished in Sebring Silver with the gray leather interior. One owner clean Carfax. It's had over $6,500 worth of new and recent repairs and maintenance including a new timing belt and water pump and a set of four premium tires. The 2004 V6 Saturn Vue has a powertrain made by Honda consisting of a 250 horsepower 3.5L VTEC V6 engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. These engines easily go over 300,000 miles in normal service. It's very clean inside and out and runs and drives excellent. Might consider a partial trade for up to about half the price. Let me know the details of your vehicle and how much you want for it. Only interested in cars and trucks. No bikes, boats or your Playstation, no matter how sweet. I have a webpage with over 100 photos and a full description at: atikovi Wed, 13 Jun 2018 00:51:36 +0000 2002 Saturn SL

by: Corners

Description: 2002 Saturn SL, blue manual 4-door sedan with 1.9 L 4-cylinder engine being sold by the original owner. All repair records available with this sale. 157,00 miles. New tires, good engine. Won't pass smog with OBD II fail. Some body damage. Dog fur in the back seat. Otherwise, clean without stains and tears. Gently run by one driver. Essential electricals still work, including the radio and speakers. Great deal if you can sort out an OBD II fail, or great for parts if you have one of your own to fix up. Just can't quite bear the thought of taking this 17-year-old working relationship to the junk yard... The exhaust components are made out of 16 gauge T304 stainless steel and have a mirror-like polish. Also included are 4 nuts, 4 bolts, 2 gaskets, and 1 band clamp for connecting the exhaust pieces with each other. The 3 nuts, 3 bolts, and gasket needed for the connection to the catalytic converter were not provided when this system was purchased. Many years ago I paid about $450 for this exhaust system to be installed on my 2001 SC2. The exhaust system has been sitting in the attic above my garage, largely forgotten, since my 2001 SC2 was totalled after a collision before I ever got around to installing this exhaust system (as well as a few other things). Some research on the Internet shows this catback exhaust system is compatible with all 1996 to 2002 model year Saturn SC2 and SC1 cars - but I am not confident about the compatibility with the 1996 model year SC2 and SC1 cars. Each one of the exhaust parts are wrapped in thick plastic so they aren't appearing as shiny as they are in real life. Pictures were uploaded here at SaturnFans. 3 pictures are of my Thermal R&D Exhaust System, and the other 9 pictures that I had saved years ago when another SaturnFans member had a Thermal R&D Exhaust System installed on their SL2 by a Saturn dealership mechanic. Higher quality pictures can be posted upon request. Can't find one in the aftermarket. No holes or tears. Cosmetically needs a rework. I have the grill and the backing styrofoam that goes with it. Has pine pollen on it in the pic. 3) Right front fender - free. 4) New trunk cable - $10 Never opened. GM# 21171457 5) New rear brake shoes and brake hardware $15 6) New Dayco 88368 hose - free. Heater core to manifold 7) Air filter - free. 8) One good General Altimax RT43 tire 195/60-15 - free. I'm in Alpharetta, which is suburban Atlanta, GA. Just like any car that is 20 years old it has its quirks. I'll give you the known bad first. There is an exhaust leak. The AC does not work. The clear coat is peeling from the hood, the roof and passenger side fender. There is rust on hood and rear passenger door jamb. It has a sticky ignition switch. Now the good. The heater works. It gets 27mpg back and forth to work and 34 on longer trips. The mileage is right around 200,500. That's just a little over 10K miles per year. It has been the daily driver for my son-in-law for the last 5-6 years and the just-in-case vehicle for my wife and I and our second daughter during that same time. dcolden Wed, 07 Mar 2018 04:25:17 +0000 WANTED: 08' Vue Redline Cargo Floor

by: HankH68

Description: Just got an 08' AWD Redline 3.6 but there was no Cargo/trunk floor in the back covering up the spare tire and stuff. He had rebuilt the engine himself at about 181K, as well as clutch...and answered all of my concerns about older, higher mileage cars. I've used it as my sole vehicle commuting to the nearby Navy base, as well as several trips to Portland, over the Cascades to Winthrop and Leavenworth and Vancouver, BC. My driving has raised its mileage to 397K and it may started losing compression/consuming more gas since mid summer. Oil consumption is normal/NEVER burned nor run low...heater core replacement and coolant flush performed last spring. It has some electrical faults:I replaced some of the wiring for the lights & signals, the alternator 2 yrs ago, A/C fan blower motor and lock cylinder[..GM cylinder 'freeze' problem..]. I am moving to the east coast and don't have the time or means to work on the engine or its other problems: - The windshield wipers run constantly[..I now activate/deactivate by inserting/removing the fuse..] - There is a short or power drain related to the high beams, which don't work. - Struts might need adjusting or replacing I think. - The headliner/upholstery is worn/hangs It has served me would make a great 'beater' that is still gets great mileage, esp. long distance driving IF the aforementioned issues are addressed. I was hoping I might get $1,000 - $1,200 bucks for it, but am now in Portland,OR and seeing many similar cars going for less, albeit they've got running issues--mine doesn't. This model year had the excellent Honda 3.5 V6. Timing belt changed at 154,000 miles, you won't have worry about that again. Oil changed every 3,000 miles, always with full synthetic. Spark plugs changed last year. Starts every time, uses no oil and averages 22 MPG in mixed driving with plenty of punch. Equipped with Champiro Ice Pro snow tires, new four years ago; they have at least 50% tread left. With those and all wheel drive, you won't get stuck anywhere. Has all the options including power sunroof, power windows, heated leather seats, rear view mirror with temperature readout and compass, cruise control, and power drivers seat, plus an aftermarket remote start. Everything works EXCEPT the air conditioner, and that does work for a month or so if you charge it. Nice clean interior, driven only by adult nonsmokers. And now for the reason for selling: the transmission occasionally slips out of first gear, especially after a cold start. It's been doing that ever since we bought it four and a half years ago (it had a used transmission installed by the previous owner), and we're still using this as a daily driver. BUT it makes my wife nervous, and it really should be fixed... and my wife decided she'd rather just buy a different vehicle instead. Or you could just drive it as is for a while, it gets me around just fine. I'd like to get $1,500 out of it, but will consider any reasonable offer.
