Aura to Make NAIAS 2005 Debut

MSN.com's North American Auto Show (NAIAS) 2005 preview page lists the Saturn 'Aura' concept as the second of two Saturn vehicles making their debut at the Detroit show next week. The first vehicle, of course, is a production version of the Saturn's Kappa-based RWD Sky roadster. Details of both vehicles are embargoed by General Motors at this time.

Sky Roadster Heralds New Design Direction For Saturn Brand

Saturn today released the first visual rendering of its upcoming sports roadster and announced that the two-seater will carry the name Sky. The rear-wheel drive Sky will showcase new design cues that will appear across Saturn's future products as the brand renews and extends its portfolio over the next 24 months.

New Saturn Names Revealed

A credible source has revealed to SaturnFans.com the names of three upcoming Saturn products: Signal, Evoke, and Outlook. Neither Saturn nor GM have officially confirmed the names, but a quick search of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's online database shows that Saturn has in fact registered trademarks for them.

Its no secret that Saturn's two-year-old Ion will get a rather significant overhaul later this summer with the introduction of the 2005 models. While the sedan will get a restyled front facia complete with a new grill (the coupe's styling will remain the same), its from the inside of both the Ion sedan and quad coupe where you'll likely notice the most change.
