Sky Red Line is Fun, Pretty

2009 Saturn Sky

David Schmidt from the Journal Register News Service: This car is about having fun on a sunny day. That means you put the top down, back it down the driveway and as long as quick rain showers don’t appear, you’re in business. Under these glorious conditions, the Saturn Sky really shines. I'm one of those people who really like roadsters; I like the cocoon-like feeling of being in one. The car's interior really wraps around you, making it feel like a part of you — a really attractive, attention-getting part of you. The controls are right where they should be and the dashboard is classic and easily readable. The 5-speed manual transmission is nice, with short throws between the gears and slick engagement that make driving this a pleasurable pastime on a sunny day with a particularly pleasant road in front of you. The gearshift comes comfortably to hand and eliminates any groping for the gear.

Owner Story: Take Care of Your Saturns, Because They Take Care of You

I have my first new car ever, and I love it: a 2006 Saturn Vue. It isn't my first Saturn, though. I had a 1995 Saturn SL2 that I drove into the ground. I bought it used, on the cheap, since it was a rebuild from a wreck. About 7400 original miles were on the odometer, and at $8700 it was too good to pass up, since it was only three years old when I bought it.
