With a several General Motors recalls underway - especially ones for the Saturn Ion, Outlook, and Sky - I've received emails from quite a few folks who are concerned that their vehicles might be impacted. If you haven't received a letter in the mail from GM and you are worried, General Motors has set up an online database that's searchable by VIN.

The folks at Yahoo Autos came across this different kind of YouTube video of the 2000 LW1 that invites viewers to "wax nostalgic over a Saturn." The review was recorded by Regular Car Reviews. Yahoo's Justin Hyde says the video features "astute narration to a wagonload of turn-of-the-century nostalgia. It's enough to make one pine for the plastic-body vanilla cars of yore."

Saturn discovered through a research study conducted by R.L. Polk that 83% of all of the Saturns ever sold in the United States are still actively registered. You may remember that nearly two weeks ago Saturn celebrated the sale of their 4 millionth vehicle in Traverse City, Michigan: a black three door Astra. Of those 4 million vehicles, 3.3 million of them are still in use.

I approached one of the busy intersections in our area, and as I went through the intersection, my car was suddenly going sideways, being pushed into oncoming traffic.
