On the Auction Block: 2003 Saturn Ion QC/T Concept

This 2003 Saturn Ion QC/T concept was featured at the 2002 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The modified Ion is powered by a 2.2 liter turbo engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, and 235/40ZR18 tires on 7-spoke Motegi aluminum wheels. Also features a custom fiberglass hood and scoop, custom deck lid spoiler, custom two tone black and silver paint, dark tint windows and a custom Rockford Fosgate audio system. The concept was built by ASC in conjunction with Saturn.

According to the brochure originally created for the vehicle:

ASC designed and produced a functional composite sport performance hood, unique front and rear chin spoilers, rocker panels, spoiler stanchions, and painted the roof black. Saturn provided the carbon fiber roof rails. For added power, a Twistech Ecotec turbo kit was installed, and for handling performance, 18" Motegi Racing wheels were fitted with Bridgeston Potenza RE 730 tires, and SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes were added.
