Spring Hill Plant Builds 2 Millionth Engine

The Tennessee-built engine is used in General Motors vehicles sold worldwide. The Associated Press reported this week that "the facility supplies engines in North America for the Chevrolet Cobalt, HHR and Malibu, the Saturn Aura and Vue, and the Pontiac G6; in Canada for the new Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain; in Europe for the Opel Insignia; and in Shanghai for the Buick LaCrosse."
