Cold Weather Testing the 2nd Generation Saturn Aura

Germany's Auto Zeitung online magazine had a chance to test drive and photograph a camouflaged Opel Insignia (also the next generation Saturn Aura) during one of the company's cold weather testing sessions in a snow covered area north of Sweden. Unfortunately, the article is written in German. But in summary, the car drove great in snowy road conditions, featured a new "Flex-Ride" suspension that gave the car better handling, and had more interior room than the current Vectra/Aura. The prototype had a wide track and sloping roof line. It was powered by an AWD V6 powertrain, but an assortment of diesel and gasoline engines will be offered... at least in Europe.
