Its still too early for Saturn's official 2009 information to hit the streets, but we now have a good idea at what changes are in store for next year's Aura midsize sedan thanks to an observant Saturn fan and some reliable information posted on a General Motors website. What's the big news? Bluetooth is available on all models. Uplevel XR sedans can be purchased with a 4-cylinder powerplant. And a new 6-speed automatic transmission replaces the 4-speed that was previously mated to non-hybrid 4-cylinder engines.

• Aura XR will be available with both 2.4L (169hp 4-cylinder) and 3.6L (252hp V6) powerplants
• New 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on Aura XE and XR 4-cylinder (except Green Line) models
• New bluetooth for cell phone connectivity to the Aura's audio system is included and only available with Preferred Package on the XE sedan; it is standard on XR sedans
• New "All Season Package" includes all-weather floor mats and molded splash guards
• New P215/55R17 touring tires are standard on all models but XR V6 (they replace last year's P215/60R16 and P225/50R17 tires)
• As a result, 16" 5-spoke machined alloy wheels are not offered anymore
• 17" twin-spoke machined alloy wheels are standard on Green Lines
• 3.5L variable valve timing V6 is no longer available
• A 4-speed automatic transmission is only offered on Green Line hybrids
• All Auras are now equipped with TAPshift manual shift controls on the steering wheel
• StabiliTrak is standard on all Aura models (includes traction control)
• New colors: Quick Silver, Polar White, Gold Mist, Silver Moss
• Deleted colors: Golden Cashmere, Cream White, Bronzed Pewter, Silver Pearl
• XE only offered with gray or tan cloth interior (black cloth is dropped)
• Leather interior is standard on XR models
