If you browse the web using your cell phone, smart phone, iPhone, or another type of PDA, you can now keep up with the latest SaturnFans.com Forums discussions in a mobile-friendly format. Work is underway to "mobile-ize" the entire SaturnFans website, but for now you should be able to more easily browse the forum, post messages, and read PMs while you're out and about.

New Site Feature: Most Popular Content

I'm happy to announce a new feature that was added to SaturnFans.com over the weekend: a dynamically updated "most popular" page. You can find the page by clicking on the link of the same name displayed on the right-hand side of the top menu bar. As it's currently configured, the page displays the 25 most frequently viewed content during the past 72 hours.

Flashback Friday: Top SaturnFans.com Stories of 2008

Save Saturn

For the first "Flashback Friday" installment of 2009, I thought it would be appropriate to take a quick look back at the biggest SaturnFans.com stories from 2008. Far and away the most visited page last year was of the "SAVE SATURN" petition form, which was posted only three weeks ago! In second place was a story linking folks to spy photos of what was believed to be the '10 Astra. Also on the list was SaturnFans.com's 2008 Astra roadtest (#16 most viewed), Saturn's 2009 Aura riddle (#41), and Al Clapsaddle's tastefully (and now famously) modified Aura XE at #71.

Happy New Year!

Saturn in Times Square

SaturnFans.com wishes you and your family a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2009! Before we jump head-first into '09 with a fresh batch of front page updates, I'd like to pause for a moment to thank you for your support throughout 2008. This website wouldn't be what it is today without the continued support of the several thousands of owners and enthusiasts who stop by every day.

Merry Christmas from SaturnFans.com!

Merry Christmas from SaturnFans.com!

I just wanted to post a quick note wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! I hope "Saturn Claus" is good to everyone this year! The holiday greeting above was sent to me many, many years ago from a Car Club in Texas. Yes, Santa really is a Saturn fan! Betcha didn't know he's got a specially modified white SC2 "sled" he uses when he's afraid of getting dents and dings in his other big red sled...

Rock Around the Christmas Tree: the "24 Hours of Christmas" Live Feed Begins at 6pm

SaturnFans.com Christmas Tree

As a kid, I remember listening to the "24 Hours of Christmas" every year on Z-100 with my family. It's been called a New York holiday tradition for almost 25 years, and promoting the live feed online is something that's become an annual SaturnFans.com tradition. Z-100 hasn't aired the "24 Hours of Christmas" for the past several years, but their cross-town rival - 95.5 WPLJ - has been playing their very own version every year since the early 1990s. At 6pm this evening the tradition continues when WPLJ goes commercial-free for 24 hours to play the best traditional and contemporary (and some just plain silly!) holiday music.
