It's only been a few hours since I first saw the new "We're Still Here" television ad, and the New York Times already has an indepth article about Saturn's brand-new campaign. The story not only discusses that particular ad, but it also takes a look at some of the other spots featuring retail store owners in Saturn's attempt to reassure customers that the brand is still in business.

Saturn has begun airing a new television spot assuring owners and consumers that the brand is still in business. The 30 second commercial features Saturn Franchise Operations Team (FOT) member and retail store owner, Todd Ingersoll.

Jean Halliday from Advertising Age: General Motors is working behind the scenes to save Saturn. The automaker is working with dealers to keep Saturn in the GM orbit. It hopes to have an action plan ready within 30 days, said Fernando Somoza and Todd Ingersoll, two dealers on the brand's Franchise Operating Team. Neither dealer gave any details of options that are on the table, although Mr. Somoza said one proposal being studied "will have global implications."

CBS Interactive recently announced a partnership with Saturn to launch a new original scripted Web series "Novel Adventures" from creator Jonathan Prince, who has a first look deal with CBS Interactive's sister division, CBS Paramount Network Television. The eight-Webisode series premiered on November 3rd exclusively on CBS.com, TheInsider.com, and TV.com.
