General Motors is recalling certain model year 2006 Saturn Ion vehicles originally sold in or currently registered in the states of Arizon and Nevada. Model year 2007 Ions originally sold or currently registered in the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, and Texas are also impacted by the campaign.

You may recall a couple of months ago GM had an auction, liquidating lots of classic cars. They even pulled the last built Saturn Ion out of the museum it was in to put it up for bidding. Well, this is that car. It was also featured in at least two articles on this website (here and here). This Saturn Ion is in fantastic shape, as it was stored in a museum. It now has 2,500 miles on it.

From AuraDrvr89: Once again this summer, my family and I traveled to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It's a spectacular amusement park, for those who are not familiar. Last year I averaged about 33mpg on the way there, and wanted to see if I could beat it this year. We drove from my home in western New York straight into Sandusky. It's a fairly straight run.

This stock 2007 Saturn Vue sport-utility - the last Vue built in Saturn's former manufacturing facility in Spring Hill, Tennessee - will be auctioned in Palm Beach later this week by Barrett-Jackson. This particular Vue is powered by a 2.2 Liter Ecotec engine with automatic transmission, features power windows and locks, and rides on Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires.
